Hi folks,
I’ve used the header live search element on my site, but when I click it to type in something that I’m looking to find, nothing happens.

Any advice?
Cheers,

OK I’ve tried the above suggestions. Any other recommendations?
I should have mentioned that it’s working fine on mobile. This is desktop that’s causing the issue.
Can you offer any more advice please? A key function of my site is now completely useless.
Hi,
Sorry for the delay, we try to reply in all topics as soon as possible, within the allocated support hours.
Also note that writing multiple times in the same topic only delays the answer. In order to get a fast response, please write once and wait for an answer. We answer from oldest to newest so if you keep posting, your post is moved to fresher ones thus receiving the answer later until we answer all posts before your last reply.
Please make a test, replace the search that you have with a new one ( delete the current one and add one from composer ) -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Mg3419MRn
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Thanks.
I’ve tried this. Cleared the cache and it’s still not functioning. I’ve tested the mobile search on the desktop, and that works. But the regular live header search isn’t responding when clicked.
Is there something else that I can try?
Thanks,
Keith
Hi,
Did you make some change to mega menu ( you add some code in theme panel, or change in theme files ) -> https://www.screencast.com/t/gW7QdbLre
Please import a new header from cloud library and check if that search is working.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hey,
No – I haven’t made changes to the theme files.
Is it possible to pay to have a tagdiv developer look into it?
I spent hours trying to get the header the way I liked it and I can’t afford to do it over when it may not even resolve the issue.
Thanks,
Keith
Hi,
You do not need to pay us for this problem, just please make a full backup to your website and send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks
