Hello Team,
1) I have the Header-login element in my footer, and as I read in the forum, the Footer Display is set to delayed (from Theme Panel). It was working fine but the login form popup no longer displays on Chrome or Safari.
2) I also added the Menu Login in the footer to test; this was working but now after I input the username and password and click “login” — nothing happens.
3) the Menu Login in the logged in view has :
a. a Dashboard page — which was displaying the publishing rights earlier but now is only displaying credits. This is problematic for me, as my users are creators.
b. in the Menu Login dropdown, I added 3 custom pages, but only 2 are showing. Basically, Custom Page 2 is not showing (I repeated the same id and title in the 3rd position, and it shows in the 3rd position but not 2nd).
It would be important to mention that I recently switched to a child theme.
I’m looking forward to your help!
Just one more thing — on the Staging site (has the same settings), I am able to see the header-login popup. However, the menu-login – when I click “Login” – it does not take me to the sign in page, instead, it refreshes the home page.
Hello @theheritagelab !
Unfortunately, yes. Please check here the explanation: https://app.screencast.com/UruyN5sbct7gT
Thank you!
Hi @Bettina,
I was hoping for a bit more of your help on the rest of the questions as well. I’ve seen the explanation in the screenshot and I use a Cloud Library Template — the same as I was using before when it was working, which is the case on the Staging Site too (where it works!)
Please can you also at least look at my question regarding publishing rights, etc?
Thanks and I would appreciate your help.

Hello @theheritagelab !
Those other issues could be from that option. Please make sure it is disabled and you’ve deleted the cache. Also, it could be from a plugin conflict as well.
Make a test and deactivate all plugins except tagDiv ones. Also, if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache, and try again.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hi @Bettina — tried everything before writing to you for help. I suspect it could be that I have not set up the child theme properly. In my child theme I only added
functions.php
style.css
Is there something else I needed to do?
Hello @theheritagelab !
Please check the child theme then. It could be a problem of compatibility.
Check the difference between the staging site and the live site.
Thank you!
Hi @Bettina,
I wouldn’t have reached out if I could find the difference on my own. I’m asking for help as maybe someone else had similar problems before that you have solved.
Is it possible for you to please check the link and investigate the issue? If you can explain how the Child theme was to be created would be nice too, as a first step.
Are the style.css and functions.php enough or do I need to add more files to this folder?
