Hello,
I have a problem with the logo of my site http://velikotarnovo.com when it displays on desktop copmuters.
As the site loads, there is a missalignment between the logo and the 728×90 google ad that displays. I have defined the size of the logo as 275×90 in the style.css file, because I thought the default size you have given there is causing this, but it seems that is not the case.
Please help.
Thanks,
Peter
Hello,
I have inspected your page source and I saw that you have some additional customization with custom CSS code, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/celyyw9oQG1V Please keep in mind that the theme should look like this -> http://screencast.com/t/lqGf2GgLV if you are using the header style 1. Please try to revert the theme to the default state, without any customization which can influence the theme functionality. Also, we cannot provide support for your customization. Please keep in mind that the theme works as properly and the logo and banner ad are properly aligned on the header. So, if you are using some untested plugins, try to disable all of them and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins.
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
Thanks for your response, but I absolutely do not understand what you mean in your response and it does not help me a single bit.
I have my logo set to size 275 x 90, and the ads next to it to 728 x 90. My question is why is it that upon loading the site, there is a misalignment at first, which then fixes itself when the site is fully loaded.
Finally, I am not sure if you are part of the development team, BUT, one would hope and expect to be able to correctly display their site’s logo using your template. Not all logos and designs have to be to the preset size that somebody has decided. I would think that your great product should be even greater by factoring in the simple fact that not all logos are of the same predetermined by you size and proportions and the template should allow for handling this basic issue…
In any event, I do not think size is my problem, since as I have stated above, the logo is set to be 275 x 90.
So may I please get advice how to avoid the misalignment problem upon loading.
Thanks,
Peter
Hello,
I have inspected again your website, and I noticed that you are not using the correct dimension for your logo. Please try to create a new logo with this size, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/YYR4TxeI -> http://screencast.com/t/gM8LZqAD5 Otherwise, you will never bring best results in our theme and that’s why your header is not right aligned. Also, I noticed that you have some custom CSS, you have change the width and that’s why will appear these problems. So, if you will use our theme without any additional customization made by you and if you will respect these parameters regarding on logo size, the theme will work like a charm. Otherwise, you will have to adjust every element until you will bring as you wish, but please notice that we cannot provide support for your additional customization, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
