I have followed these instructions exactly (https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/) and even thought the logo shows as a thumbnail in the “Logo Image” section of the tool bar and the image is set to “Show” the logo will still not appear on the website or even the edit page. It defaults to the 9 block tag div default logo. Why will it not appear? What am I missing? Could you let me know please?
Also, how do I adjust the overall width of the page content? I have tried everything but it just sits at the default width when I add a row.
I am having the same issue with logo on newspaper template…I have uploaded logo to replace the text logo but it is not reflecting when I save.

I added the Gadget layout and the tried to edit the home page of that layout. I edited the logo many times as well as the row width, but they would not take. I then decided to start again with a new page completely and assign it as the home page and all of the problems disappeared. I added a header logo and my logo appeared and I adjusted the row width and it went to full width. It seems the actual Gadgets layout I used has something that is stopping it updating these items.
Also, as mentioned, I created a new page for the home page and assigned it under Settings>reading, but now when I go to any post category page, the whole home page shows at the base of the category page. What is happening? Why is it showing on every page?
Do I have to create another post for this issue with the home page content showing at the base of every category page or will somebody reply to it here?

So you have made the change for the homepage and logo and are working? Related to the issue with the page at the bottom of the template maybe you added rows in footer zone that is why you have it on the homepage, so please check the rows where are set and move them to the content zone on the page

No, I had to start again with a new page and assign it as the homepage. The logo works on everything apart from the Gadgets Template Home page that it creates. That will not change and hence why I just started a new page completely.
With regards to the categories page showing my home page at the base, I just opened the category page to edit it and hovered over the homepage that appears at the bottom, and sure enough, it says “Footer” in the Zone. Why has the whole page been assigned to the footer area of the category template? All I did was create a new page and assign it as home page. Where did it pick it up and make it the footer? I have just assigned a new footer for the global footer to get rid of it, but I would still like to know why this happened without me knowing?
After I changed the global footer to the new one I downloaded from templates, my whole home page disappeared. So I am now guessing that you can edit the footer from creating a new page and I have somehow added all the page content into the footer area without knowing. I will have to build the page again now.
I just tried to create a new page and the only Zones available on the builder are the header Header Menu and the Footer. How am I supposed to create a Content area as every time I drag a row over it goes into either of those zones. Where is the Content zone?
Also, how do you make the whole page full width? I have tried setting the Rows to Stretch Row and Content, but it has no effect, there seems to be a higher level of CSS restricting the width of the content.

Normally, when you create a new page, there is an empty row where you can add elements, but you can also add more rows to the page -> https://i.imgur.com/9NjR16H.png
If you want to make the layout full width, then to change the website width, you need to make sure that you don’t have set a background color/image in the Theme Panel because this makes your website boxed. Make sure this option is disabled => https://www.screencast.com/t/ejiNPCBF

I am experiencing a similar problem with the Town Talk template in the Newspaper theme. I can edit the text logo to type in a new name, and I can even toggle it off, but I cannot toggle off the icon, and I cannot get the actual logo to replace what’s there. I have tried to add it in both the global header AND in the Newspaper theme settings, but nothing works. Feels like a bug. Same problem exists for the logo not appearing in the footer as well.

That was it! As soon as I toggled SVG to Hidden, the logo appeared. Sweet goodness. Why does SVG merit it’s own tab? Anyways, THANK YOU!
