Hello
live dev site http://www.hellouk.net
We have a sub menu under header menu
is there any way to control the speed of jumping to next menu?
now it jumps to next menu to fast for us
thanks
Hello,
You can try to change the delay times in the JS files:
Try to change these values – http://screencast.com/t/8R2hVRq4
It’s more difficult as the code is minified – http://screencast.com/t/sWgeCU4WIvS4
Hope I pointed you in the right direction.
Thank you!
Hi
thanks for this, I tried, but seems not something to want, we want, shall I say “speed to react on hover” ?
when ppl hover on here
delay a little to to “start loading” next menu
the setup you mention does not change the delay time for hover action to start loading but only let menu “start to load fast, but appear slowly”
main reason for us is that it is now too fast to load next menu, sometime ppl just accidentally move mouse too fast on http://i.imgur.com/meGDpza.jpg, they expect like 0.5 second to regret to move up and down to choose what next page they really want to see
many thanks!
Hello,
I understand your request but unfortunately it is no easy task to do. The mega-menu was not designed to work inside a sub-menu. The easiest solution is to set it to activate on click http://screencast.com/t/qzHCWVkur so that your users will click on their menu choice. The other option involves a bit of js programming.
If you do not know how, we suggest you hire a developer to do it for you because we cannot offer custom work.
Thank you!
Hello
activate on click should be good enough, but I make what you said
http://screencast.com/t/qzHCWVkur
from false to true, behaviour does not change
I just set mine to true and it works. Make sure you set the correct one. Line 542 from tagdiv_theme.js

Hello
you mean here
will only go to next menu if you click it correct?
if so
I have set it to true
but still not working
live site for verify http://www.hellouk.net
even use proxy browser to make sure there is no cache

Hello,
Thank you for your suggestion but please understand that implementing more control option for the mega-menu will not be an easy task and we need more people to request it in order to implement such an option. I will add it on our list but i cannot make any promise that it will be implemented in the next update. We always try to improve our theme and if this will become a priority it will be done for certain.
Thank you for your understanding.
