my website is http://www.midlifecurious.blog
I built a custom header which worked great until I added a new category group and put it in the menu. Now any of the category pages in this new category group show the standard header not the custom one. If you checkout the site you will see that anything under resources uses the standard header. Any ideas, please help. Thank you.
I was doing some more testing and its not a function of new categories I added. Over half my category pages display with the default (old) header not the new custom cloud library one I built. On the site under the LIVE category, the sub categories for Wellness, Food, Home work fine but Health doesn’t work. Also all the sub categegories under LAUGH don’t work (ie show default header).
Hi,
Please set the header as global header in Theme panel -> https://www.screencast.com/t/2Tnb1GDpe05o in this way you’ll have the same header on each post/page/category that do not have set an individual header.
Thank you!
Thanks Calin but I do have the header set as a global header in the Theme panel. I’ve tried setting is back to default then back to the cloud template but that doesn’t fix it. I’ve also tried setting the individual categories with the cloud template but even when they have a cloud template in the header page they still show the default?
Sadly that didn’t make a difference. I cleared cache at wordpress and browser and then reset the global header to the new one and the problem is the same.
