Hey – I hope you can help on both of these…
1. Is it an easy change to widen the header (move the logo to the left and menus to the right) 6opx?
2. Logo on click go to a different url? (I have a multisite install)

1. The header is in tune with the main content area and it cannot be made wider. The positioning of the elements depends on the header style that you use, but you will not be able to make it wider. The main content is 1068 px wide. The header as well will not be able to go past this width.
2. The logo will redirect to the homepage is this is not altered in any way. I cannot say for sure what redirect you have in place as you did not provide a link to your site, but that is not a default theme implementation. If your logo does not redirect to the homepage, you will have to check your multi-site or plugins.
