Header width and background color

Another newbie question: Is there a way to make the header or the logo be fullwidth and at the same time having background colored on both sides?

I’m on version 1.6 and I don’t see the transparent header button…

Hi,

That’s because you use Newsmag theme and you have different options in Theme Panel, so please set transparency/opacity from Theme Colors section: http://screencast.com/t/tehUt1nGCg
