Hi,
If I understand correctly you want to remove the “Hot news” elements -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ybQuysyqU7 if is so then you’ll need to go in Appearance > Widgets -> https://www.screencast.com/t/3evRntI2HNPo
If this is not what you mean, please provide some more details.
