Hi,
I realize this is a rather stupid question but I have read all the documentation, searched the forums and I understand how most of the theme works, but I just can’t work out how to get posts into pages! Is there a simple, straightforward tutorial for people like me?

Hello,
I’m not sure how you want posts into your pages. If you want to use content blocks and show multiple posts on your homepage in grid views, you can follow this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ss-BEobegAw
If you want to display a full post inside your page,then you can simply use a text box element and paste in the post content: http://screencast.com/t/Wt8ZbGrW
