help to copy actual personalizations to child theme and how to work on it

please support me to create the child theme in order to work on it in the future.
I’ve created only the home page on my website using tagdiv tool.
I know that is better to work on the child theme and I need support to create it and use in the future.
I’m not expert in web site management.
