Help with Comment Section

Hi,

In the Comment Section there are four fields “Name” ,”Email”,”Website” and “Comment”. Out of those four fields I would like to remove the Website field from the Comment Section.Would you please help me with that.

Also If user doesn’t enter any field and click on “Post Comment” button.We get an error message in the next Page.I want the error message to be displayed in the same page.How would I do that

Hi

To remove the field for website from comments section you need to edit comments.php file and comment the indicated lines: http://screencast.com/t/28D2pecD – http://screencast.com/t/qQB8oYI5sWv
The theme uses the WordPress comment system and the error message which appear if the user don’t fill all required fields, in order to post a comment, is also generated by WordPress. To change that you will need to edit the file wp-comments-post.php from WordPress.
This is a complex task and we can’t offer customization services at the moment so if you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.
