I recently updated wordpress and your theme but realized that my comments are all gone. There isnt an option to comment. Can you please help me with it? my blog is http://www.goalzila.com
It also screwed up my menu icons and social media icons after I updated the theme
Comments are turned on/off from the main WP admin panel under “discussion” … and if turned “on” the comments will work, unless you have a plugin that conflicts with the theme’s normal comment file. You can also look in your WP admin under “comments” to see all the comments left for your site, which have nothing to do with theme.
Also in theme panel, under post settings, make sure the “disable comments sitewide” is not switched to “on.” Default is off, and would only be “on” (to turn comments OFF), if you selected it.
Not sure that helps, but maybe starting point to debug.

Please take a look over the settings from WordPress dashboard > Discussion and make sure you haven’t disabled them from Theme Panel > Post settings, you should have this option set like this: http://screencast.com/t/txpFm69v and also make sure you have enabled them from post editing panel, under screen options: http://screencast.com/t/KWbOWzdk
If nothing works please disable all plugins leaving only those that theme requires and check again. Should work fine, we have no issues regarding comments with latest theme updates.

Yes, I have turned them on. The funny thing is, my previous posts have their comments on but not for the latest ones.
