Hi, I need help about how to make this image wide and text block in best way with Tagdiv Page Builder.

Hi,

You could use a row, this has options to set a background image

Also the rows can be stretched to full width

Then in the row you can place any element you want, like a text column for displaying text.

There are of course other elements in the composer that can be used to display images and text, you could try them out as well

Other question: to control image heigth in this same solution, is there another way than using CSS? My image has 100px but I want show only 50px as height, like cutting it.

Rows do not have options to set a height for them. You could set a custom class to the row and using it set a height of your choosing
