I am just starting to create my website using the Newspaper and prebuilt Black Version Pro theme. One thing I really want is for my posts to display a category in the slug. This is a must-have for me. At the moment, trying different pre-built themes, it shows the site name, date published, then the post title. Example below.
https://gameredeemcodes.com/2021/07/30/free-mobile-games-test/
I want the slug on posts to be https://gameredeemcodes.com/mobile-games/free-mobile-games-test/
Basically, I want the category in the slug not the date, as I plan on updating the dates of the posts on a weekly basis once new content gets added.
Please help, I want to get this part sorted before I build.
Can support help please? This should not be a huge issue but just something I can’t seem to find.
