Help with Template and big silder

Hello I can’t seem to get my homepage setup. I follow the documentation instructions and pick an template. The big slider doesn’t show up and the background image shows up just a little bit. I left some links to pics to show you what I’m talking about.

Hello,

The big slide from templates read featured posts. To mark a post as featured just include the post in Featured category. You can read here How to make a featured post http://import.tagdiv.com/newspaper/doc/#start

Now is hidden because you don’t have featured posts.
