Hi,
I created new category and made it hidden from Theme panel->category->’desired category’->Hide category on posts and category on pages. The hidden category still exists on block tags on home page and on top in posts where the categories are. The interesting thing is that the Featured category is still hidden, but the new created category that I try to hide persist to these places.
Everything is set according to documentation. Theme latest version. No cache plugins installed or addons to cause errors.

Please notice that this option hides your category only for single post page and on category pages. Useful if you want to have hidden categories to sort things up. Also, this option does not rule out this category from the entire theme but only from these spaces. I have no cache plugins. Tried with clearing browser cache and nothing changed.
I have disabled it in the exact same way as you say. Even the Featured category hiding is off it is hidden. The category I try to hide is not, no matter if it’s on or off.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option that offers you a way to hide a certain category for modules, sorry! Please notice that the only method, in this case, is to hide the categories for that module per generally and it is not the option to hide only a certain category.
