Hello,
Is it possible to hide the featured image on a post if the post has a specific tag. I still would like the featured image to be displayed on a category page though.

Hi,
Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option for that. If you want to have this functionality, you need to edit the theme core files and add some conditions through the code. If you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this case, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
