You should use a bit of CSS code to hide it from mobile devices. I need to know your website URL so I can take a closer look at your website and also, so I can provide a more accurate code. Also, you can provide some useful screenshot with your problem.

If you are referring to the author box widget in the sidebar, there are options to hide elements based on device. Like this
