Hide the Cloud Template from the dashboard menu

Hey guys,

I’m trying to hide the Cloud Template menu on the left side of the administration panel for users under the WordPress Administrator role through the ‘remove_menu_page’ function by tag via functions.php but it’s not having any effect. I have already tried the following lines without success:

remove_menu_page( ‘edit.php?post_type=tdb_templates’ );
remove_menu_page( ‘tdb_cloud_templates’ );

Could you help me by providing the correct slug for this function?

Thanks.

Hello @fabinhoalmeida !

For customization and other services, you can contact our custom work team here: https://tagdiv.com/premium-customization-services/.

Thank you for understanding!

Sorry, Bettina, but you’re a little mistaken, unless Newspaper is a theme that isn’t designed for medium-sized websites and large portals.

This function should not be sold by you as a customization, but rather exist by default as security for those who have a team of writers and editors, and protect us about the theme’s settings.

I can’t understand how a technical function, which should be of an administrative nature, can remain open in all the panel menus for anyone to use.

Here is my protest!

Thanks.

Hello @fabinhoalmeida !

I understand what you need. But, unfortunately, we have no settings in order to achieve what you need in our theme, and we do not recommend changing the theme code.
You can try to change the roles and capabilities of your users from here: https://wordpress.org/support/article/roles-and-capabilities/.
Try to use a plugin for this, for example, the Members, Membership, and User Role Editor Plugin.

I hope that helps you somehow!

Thank you!
