Hi, I run 5 copies of Newspaper on a server split into four VIP hosting plans using virtualised resources, over the past few days we’ve been seeing massive spikes in the I/O usage for the server leading to 508 errors being served up. The busiest site on the server has a max of 10-20 users at any given time so can’t see why there would be such spikes in I/O usage, can you suggest any possible resolutions or causes of this? would disabling wp-cron.php help?

Sorry but please notice that issue does not come from our theme. This problem comes from your dedicated server.
