for those rushing to upgrade to wordpress 4.1 be aware the the new front end editor changes are causing issues with visual composer.

Thanks Christopher for reporting this. We have also made some tests and noticed some issues with the “Drag and Drop” functionality of the Visual Composer plugin and possible other issues too.

We will also release and updated withe the fixed version of the Visual Composer plugin as soon as we have it.

yes, i have updated to WordPress 4.1 .. WPBakery Visual Composer update alredy available od codecanyon.. Shall we update it or just hold?
well obviosly it wont let us update as we do not obtain the licence as its part of the theme.. well i guess we need to wait till you guys release the udpate…
I updated to 4.1 and have no issues on my end with the VC…but since they also issued an update, I’ll be sure to go ahead and update it as well (have my own copy of VC because I’ve loved it for a long time )

Newsmag was just updated on ThemeForest.
And Visual Composer updated again after that.
Aaah forget it, I guess it was something with the cache.
well i ran the update over the ftp, but visual composer plugin is still asking for an update..
did i do somethig wrong or should i disable and delte the plugin Visual composer before i ran the update?

Add this line in wp-config.php to prevent wordpress perform automatic updates in the future. So we can sleep in peace with newsmag… hehehehehe 😀

I can confirm that the Visual Composer update does fix the drag and drop issue. And yes I do have a license to Visual Composer.
