Home duplicate meta description in google webmster

Hi,

in google webmaster it appeared an error
for duplicate description for these url:

/
/page/4/

as if there was a pagination in the home…

how to solve?

the problem specified from google webmaster is in my home page

http://www.site.com/
http://www.site.com/page/4/

if i put in url “site.com/page/(any number)” I do not have page 404
in response, but same of site.com

Page has canonical but it could be dangerous for seo?

get wrong pagination (404) also on category…

probably is a wordpress problem, but with the new mobile theme version pagination is also in home and google notices.

to avoid duplication i think must add %%pagenumber%%% in yoast home title and description,
if you doesn’t have a better solution …
