As I add new posts to the website, the Home Page just shows all posts in chronological order. Is there a way to control this. I would like to display few of the most recent articles shows by category exactly as the default demo Newspaper shows.
If I post 10 video posts, all of these will now take up the front Home page and other posts will be way down. Instead I would like to limit the posts by category and show a sample from all categories in the Home page. I hope you understand what I am trying to explain 🙂

It seems you have the homepage set up as a list of your latest articles from wp. If you want a custom homepage layout you need to switch from the standard wp homepage to a static page from here: http://screencast.com/t/ZFoJMOcK8
