Just updated to Newspaper 8 and redeisgned my homepage at http://www.sgaialand.it.
From certain computers, I see it perfect. When I zoom in/out, all blocks remain in the right position:

Using other computers, the main column goes full width, all blocks stick to the sides of the page, image thumbnails don’t adapt, etc.:

It’s quite a big deal and need to fix this ASAP… can anybody help me?

I’ve tested the demo page you shared, and works fine from all devices and browsers.
It’s not easy to say under which circumstances my personal devices (mac and windows 10 pc) don’t visualize my page correctly, cause they just don’t, as shown in the screenshots I’ve shared.

Maybe the two things are not related, but I noticed that from my personal devices I also can’t save changes in the theme panel. I can do it from the same computers that can visualize the page above correctly.

That worked as well. I could not say what exactly is causing that for those particular computers. It could be a browser issue, or extension in the browser.
If the theme panel saves properly on those devices, then the problem could be with your devices.

thank you very much for your feedback! The page actually displays correctly now. There must have been some caching issues, solved by purging it both in Cloudflare and in my hosting.
I still can’t save them panel changes in some devices, though. It’s very strange, and don’t understand why it works with some devices, and doesn’t with others. Any ideas on possible causes?
The biggest issue I encountered, though, is about posts. All the 810 posts in my site, created with VC and newspaper 7, have the sidebar overlapping content. The articles are full page and don’t leave space for the sidebar.
The only solution I found is modifying each post and changing columns from 1 single column to 2/3-1/3. But doing that for all posts is just crazy.
I saw that that’s a known issue. Are you working on any patch to make a bulk modification?

Hi,
That layout issue could by solved by deactivating the tagDiv composer from your plugins section. This editor is automatically activated when the theme is updated or installed.
Having both composers active can cause this kind of issues.
For the theme panel saving issues, maybe you have restrictions installed or firewalls that block the process. If it works on other computers that means the issue is locally.
