Homepage Design Change

Hello team,

I’ve created a home page as per the video/documentation provided by you here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LC7iz-v-zIY. After I’ve built the page its not getting applied to the original home page https://content.wisestep.com/ and instead a new page is getting created like this http://content.wisestep.com/my-homepage/

I want the “my-homepage” design to be applied to my original or default site home page

The video says that after the page is created it overrides the global layout. But seems like that’s not happening in my case. May be I’m missing something. Can anyone please help me out ?
