Homepage Post block jumps on small screens

Hello! I am using Homepage Post on the homepage of my website. It looks great on a laptop screen, but on phone screens, the featured image jumps. When it loads, it is too small and there is a grey space at the bottom. But as soon as you scroll the page, the featured image zooms to the correct place. You can see that on a phone here: http://e50.4da.myftpupload.com/. I have tried using many different background images…high resolution, lower resolution, and different dimensions. They all look great on a laptop screen, but have this jumping zoom on a phone. How can this be fixed? Thanks so much!

Hi,

I believe that is happening because of a custom code that modifies the height of the element
https://www.screencast.com/t/hTsEIWOzJri
If this code is supposed to reduce the height on desktop, please move it from the custom CSS section and enter it in Theme panel->Advanced CSS in the desktop field. The the code will only apply on desktop. Then clear any installed cache and check the results.

Thanks

I did the changes that you suggested. I cleared all caches and waited a week to make sure, because sometimes it takes a while for the changes to appear on my phone. Unfortunately, the problem is still happening.

Do you have another fix?

Hi,

There seems to be an issue like you mention. This is not happening on the live demo of the homepage post however
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/homepage-one-top-post/
Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information so we can investigate this issue further. Also paste a link to this topic in your email.

Thanks
