Homepage Post module broken

https://twohonestguys.co/thg-tv/ tv, movies and gaming all had that post module at the top and now they won’t load at all even if I change the categories and delete and reinsert the module. Everything else inside the visual composer layout is working fine. The only thing that’s changed on the websites end is I moved to a new host and changed PHP from 5.6 to 7.0 on their servers. I guess there could be potential incompatibility perhaps? Has anyone else had similar issues? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello ryan_lipton,

I have inspected your source page of your website and I saw that you are using a lot of untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues. Try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet. -> https://www.screencast.com/t/vqDEeoCYvj Notice that we cannot provide theme support if you are using these untested plugins. Try to make a new sub-domain with a fresh install where you should install only the default theme and check the homepage post module and see how it will work or not. This element has been tested with the theme and seems to work as expected.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thanks for your understanding!

Like I mentioned nothing else changed when the site was migrated to the new server no new plugins were installed. However, if you look now every plugin has been deactivated but the essentials and it’s still not working.

Please try to escalate the problem and speak to someone else. This guy is ignorant and simply ‘copy and paste’ his answers. I have similar issues which has never being sorted and got exactly the same answer from this guy (blaming other untested plugins). I have also hosting with php7. It seems their theme is far behind and not compatible with PHP7 yet.

Hello ImSoCute,

I am sorry if you are talking this about us. We are here to provide a technical support but with the condition of respecting what it is recommended to do before the theme works properly. Please keep in mind that all of the untested plugins are dangerous for the theme because all of these can interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues, sorry! This point of view is available for each WordPress theme, as you probably know. If you have a problem with this type of module, like Homepage post, you should send us an email at cotnact@tagdiv.com with your credentials so I can take a closer look at it and also, so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
This is very important. First of all, ensure that your PHP version on your dedicated server is 7.0 or less. Please do not use PHP 7.1 This error occurs when using this version of PHP. Our theme is only compatible up to version 7.0.

Thanks for your understanding!
