I’ve been using WordPress for many years and I know that when you set URL in Settings > General like http://www.domain.com, it will automatically redirect none-www to http://www.domain.com as default.
However, after a few updates of Newspaper (I didn’t noticed when it have charged), my URL are not redirect anymore.
When you type none-www, it still load the page with none-www. When you type http://www.domain.com, it still load http://www.domain.com as normally.
This issue only happens to the homepage, not other page. I’ve tested with post URL and it always redirect to http://www.domain.com/post.html (when I typed domain.com/post.html).
So, it’s only happens with the homepage. I just want to ask that’s the problem of Newspaper or of new WordPress update? (4.4.1)?

Please provide more details to your problem as we cannot understand what the issue is.
When you type http://www.domain.com, it still load http://www.domain.com as normally.
The 2 links are the same. What should it redirect to? Please try to provide a better example so we can understand better how to help.

Load: http://techfor.us , it’s still techfor.us, not redirect to http://www.techfor.us
In general settings of WordPress, I have set it’s http://www.techfor.us
So the question is it’s the error from WordPress or your template?
This error is only happened for homepage only.
When you load: http://techfor.us/2015/10/wi-fi-vs-ethernet-advantages/
It still redirect to: http://www.techfor.us/2015/10/wi-fi-vs-ethernet-advantages/ , normally.

I have checked your website and saw the issue but I could not recreate it on my side. Please check this issue on a WP default theme to see if the problem persists. Please also try it without any plugins. Disable all of them except visual composer and clear your cache to rule out a plugin conflict. You can also check your htaccess to see if there are any rules set that could influence the url.
