Hi,
I’m going to redesign my homepage.
I’d like to create a test hompepage so that I can test my redesign before going live.
Amongst other redesigns, I’d like to test out ‘custom fields’ on this test homepage.
Is this possible?

I recommend you to try to use the staging plugin, so you won’t ruin your website, check also this article from here and give it a try: https://themeisle.com/blog/wordpress-staging-site/
In case that you do not want that, please provide more information, screenshots with what exactly do you want to achieve and your website link in order to help you.
