hi, can get homepage working, my homepage is set using custom link and in settings reading: <span style=”background-color: #ffffff; color: #222222; font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 16.796875px;”>Front page displays. how do i get this working?</span>
i mean i have already existing homepage created by custom link how do i turn this existing homepage to look like demo?
and i dont want to have 2 homepage buttons, i have home link as text/name of my site mightyandroid.com / mightyandroid goes to homepage

Create a page Homepage2 to be used for your homepage instead of initial homepage and paste this in classic editor:

Go to Settings -> Reading and select as static page your new homepage http://screencast.com/t/OkmggUt3
For menu you can use text instead of that icons, there is no limitation.

i see, if i remove custom link “mightyandroid” ( http://mightyandroid.com/ ) and create menu with link ( http://mightyandroid.com/ ) will this effect seo of my page? will i lose all y links pointing to http://mightyandroid.com/ ???

Are you referring to replace the mightyandroid text with a house icon?
I do not exactly know. Most sites have a “Home” labeled link. So I don’t think that the content of the link matters for seo.
