Hi,

I need some help in implementing this code to the Newsmag theme. It’s for the Event Calendar widget.

This link shows how to do it – but not in an ELI5 way. I have no clue how to go about doing it, please help.

Hi

You can try to add the php code in function.php file: http://screencast.com/t/cBsxTveSod98 and the css ion theme panel > custom code > custom css. Note that Event Calendar plugin is not tested with our theme and we can’t guarantee that it will work fine.

Could you suggest a plugin with good widgets, that is tested for newsmag theme to display my events?

Hi

We didn’t tested any plugin with a similar functionality and we can’t make any recommendation in this regard, sorry. You can do a search online for best plugins on this niche, try a few of them then use the one who fits you best.
