Normal when you edit with tagDiv Composer the color section should look like this -> https://i.imgur.com/IpHk7gm.png when is not like this, in most cases the theme is not updated or you have a plugin conflict. The last theme version is Newspaper v10.3.8

So what I check for plugins? I had several other theme in this web site before & maybe their plugins are still active or something. How can I check it?

Please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins (theme plugins), also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, disable them, clear all cache and try again.

Hi Gatso, now is not necessary to be a plugin conflict, that is only to make sure if the option from tagDiv Composer is not working. because for is look different. Now it can be because you are not using the last theme version, Newspaper v10.3.9.1 and you use last WordPress version.
If you do not have the above theme version, please make a full backup and update the theme -> https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/
