How Can I Change Template Without Loosing Personnal Settings And Contents

Hi,
I want after some weeks – when content will be abundant – changing a template blog (now im under car blog template) with a template news. And i’m asking if i can do the job without loosing my settings (menus, widgets, fonts,…) and contents.

Hello makaynbass,

I suppose that you are using the Car Blog demo, right? Do you want to change it to another demo? Please keep in mind that all the content and settings are loaded in your database but if you edited the dummy data content with your content, when you switch to another demo, you will loose all of this. Otherwise, if you create your own content, the data can be found in your database. Make a full backup of your database and then try to use another template/demo.

I practice a little English
So If I understood correctly, if I modified a page, article or image related to the demo, I will lose these changes. If I have created my own articles and pages from zero, I will keep my content
Is that what you mean?
