How can i get my bbpress forum to display like this?

Hi,

If you want categories and forums to appear like in your screenshot you will need custom works as the theme using bbpress doesn’t look like this. You can check our demo to see how it looks – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/forums/
I suggest to hire a freelancer to help you to change the design of your forum, if you don’t know how to do it as we cannot provide any type of custom work at this time because we work hard on development, updates and support.

but the reason i got Newspaper before was because of its bbpress layout – which was like the one above…

now after the update it became the default version, similar to Newsmag.

now i have to pay extra to bring it back to what it was before?

Yes, you are right the bbpress template was changed and it looks like on newsmag now. Unfortunately we cannot help you to change it back, but if you can’t use the theme we can offer a full refund, just send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and we will explain the procedure.
