I’m not sure if I’m describing it correctly. The issue I am having is I want to have a background but I want to enlarge the width of the entire middle section that contains content. If I go to each specific ROW layout and try to enlarge under ROW STRETCH it and does nothing. The main middle section stays the same size and I can’t seem to make the width larger than it is. You can only enlarge the width of whatever is already inside the main middle section but I want to make the middle section width larger, the entire thing from top to bottom.
The American flag is my background but I don’t want it to take that much space on both sides. I want to make the middle section where the content is wider. Please help, thanks

At the moment unfortunately there is no option for this since when you use any background color / image the layout will be boxed.

Yes, if you remove the background image / color you can stretch the rows.
In order to adjust page width you have to select every row of your page using the tagDiv Composer and then set the stretch mode you want like here : https://www.screencast.com/t/BkWwdHh6
In order to make the post page full width you will have to add a single post template and then edit it. These are the ways you can increase your page width from theme options. Anything above this will require custom code which is not covered by the support team.
Please make sure that there are NO background images / color. Not even white. All your background color have to be set on clear.

Yes, but those are only for header and footer. What if i want to make whole my desktop version be like 1240px wide?
For example Category page – there is no any settings in theme panel for stretching category page and i cant stretch row in builder for that page as well.
