How can I override the single-product.php?

Hi,

I have two categories of product, let’s say A and B.

What I want to do is make Category A use template file single-product-a.php and B use single-product-b.php.

I have dig into Newspaper/woocommerce, and copy the folder to child theme. But when I change the single-product.php to taxonomy-product_cat-a.php, nothing happened. My ref is https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/61667/different-template-of-products-for-specific-category-woocommerce

Hi,

I couldn’t say how something like that would be possible. Product category pages do not have options to select templates for them.

Maybe there are solutions online that you could try to customize these category pages.
