That is added when a sidebar is used, so you can see exactly how the post content will look in the end. It will not show only when there is no sidebar selected.

I have tested this again and it works. Most likely it is browser caching. Force refresh the page a few times (Ctrl+Shift+R), test with a different browser, or open a new or different post post.
