You can use the page builder and a raw html element or a column text element to add html code to your pages. Just place the element where you need the html code to show up.

But you must use a page builder (in your case WPBakery)to edit the page, there is no other way to modify it and add/remove elements. There would be no other way of inserting page builder content in a page.

Those are some issues I never seen before with WPBakery. Maybe it is not installed properly, try installing it again. Try it like it says here

We did not test WPBakery in a multisite, I don’t know why that happens unfortunately.
