My site is too blend. How do I add shadows around the boxes of my site? Also do you have other recommendations as to how I can spice it up?

Hello,
It depends on what shadows and where you have in mind. That will be a complex css implementation you need. The theme does not provide these settings so you will either have to learn how to implement css shadows:
