How do I add the featured posts to home page?

How do I add this to my blog? I have gone through all the options in the theme panel and have not found any option to enable this feature.

Hello ppcker,

The block element you are pointing out is block Big grid 8. It can be added in visual composer: http://screencast.com/t/aWibBCZx3Fny. In order to add the color scheme to it you need to change the grid style.

Yes, but as I have come to understand this theme, it will show up in a page (domain.com/page, not in the main home page (domain.com). I would like to have this in the main home page.

You can set your homepage to any page from here: http://screencast.com/t/xpKatNSTG
Create your page to your prefference in visual composer and set it as homepage or edit the existing homepage: http://screencast.com/t/XXaDY7cRR – it will be marked as Front Page in the pages section.

Thanks, it worked. Great theme. It increased pagespeed on my shitty Dreamhost shared server; ads CTR, pageview went up while having a cleaner design.
