Help, please. On custom pages:
1) when I insert a video into a sidebar using the video shortcode, it makes the background of the title black. How can I make it white instead? I’ve looked everywhere I could think of on Theme Panel etc.
2) On custom pages the subheds (H2, H3, etc.) are coming out black, even though I specified a different color in the Theme Panel. What am I doing wrong?
3) I made a custom page for a subcategory that I don’t want to appear in a Navbar menu. How do I make the category links point to this page?

1. There is a general color for blocks/widgets title – http://screencast.com/t/QpH3wKXkj this should change the background and color also for wordpress widgets.
2. Please provide a link and more details(some screenshots with your settings) as I’m not sure what you mean.
3. The theme doesn’t have such an option, You can try to find a plugin to redirect category to a page, like this one – https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-301-redirects/
