I’m a beginner/noob in word press and Facebook implementation. Sorry if my question is too simple.
I have a Facebook page for my website.
I see users giving likes to individual posts and the likes don’t count in the Facebook page.
What settings do I have to do to link the posts like with the Facebook page in order see the page in the actual Facebook posts.
I’m using NextScripts: Social Networks Auto-Poster to post all site posts to Facebook.
Hi,
We have implemented the like button from a fb plugin – https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/like-button and it should work properly, to have the same number of likes also on facebook. That like button uses the link of the current post and it increments like for it so it should show the total likes you have for that post. The counter is handled by facebook, so please wait a while maybe there is a Facebook error and it takes some time to update like’s number.
Thanks!
Thank you for the info.
I think it’s something from my settings.
When I do like a post(using my personal Facebook account) it doesn’t show on my Facebook activity that I’ve liked a post and neither it doesn’t show on the individual post that me I did like that post.
Where can I find more info on how to set this for Newspaper 6.5?
I saw there is a Social settings menu on Newspaper admin page but I didn’t found if there is a place where I can add an Facebook App ID or a way to link them.
My likes or other people likes doesn’t show on the Facebook page and their names there.
Just to correct this. I see my activity and that I like a post on my personal page.
What I want to do is to link the WordPress posts with the Facebook posts through the Facebook App ID (or any other solution).
When I click the like in the Newspaper post, I want that like to appear on the post from the Facebook page that I did publish with NextScripts: Social Networks Auto-Poster.
How can I do this? If there is a way.
Hi,
Unfortunately we did not made any tests using NextScripts: Social Networks Auto-Poster so I cannot provide any recommendations. I’ve just referred to the theme facebook like button should work – http://screencast.com/t/UCzhXrgW
Thanks!
