I’m trying to remove pop-up ads whenever someone first opens my webpage or an article. I can’t figure out where to locate this option to remove pop-up ads. Any guidance would be excellent. Thanks!
it appears the pop-up ads are only when opening an article. Not sure how to turn this pop-up ad off for both mobile and desktop.
If the ads are served by GoogleAdsense you can do this by going to:
Ads -> Overview -> Edit (the site) -> Disable the ad types you don’t want
Maybe disable “Vignette Ads”.
You can also disable ads on a specific page:
Ads -> Overview -> Edit (the site) -> Manage Page Exclusions
Don’t forget to “Apply to site” after you have made the changes.
If the ads are served by your own server, e.g. Revive AdServer, you will need to locate where the ad is coming from and disable it.
