How do I use shortcodes like Dropcaps, tabs and columns?

Couldn’t find the documentation on using the above shortcodes.
And, using the different kinds of blockquotes? I am only able to use the blockquote inserted with the wysiwyg editor, which is the one that is centered.
How do I do the left quote, box quote etc?

In the last updates, these setting were moved from Shortcodes to Formats like this -> http://screencast.com/t/qIBuA1qTm
