I am in the middle of updating from Newspaper 4 to latest version Newspaper 6. So far i followed the steps of your tutorial.
When i clicked
“Update from Newspaper 4:
To update from version 4 please run this update script. Note: please backup your site before updating!”
The warning poped up – I hit OK.
And since then nothing happened?
What do I do now!

Hello,
Changing from newspaper 4 has it’s downside unfortunately as it will be almost like switching to another theme as the code was changed drastically since version 4. The best thing to do is to delete your current theme and upload the new version directly via ftp and then simply run the update script from the main theme panel.
