How to accomplish a block layout like the pictures attached?

Hello guys,

We recently purchased Newspaper theme to build a website that is almost as your Default demo site. There are a few things we need to change before we’re sure everything is like we want.

Two of them are like the pictures I attached below. We can’t figure out how to properly choose a block layout to accomplish those two different layouts. Please could you help us?

Well, you do have a variety of blocks available indeed. But none of them can cover my desired appearance. It’s like having a block 4 page with only two posts, with the first block taking a little more percent than the second. Say 66% the left block and 33% the right one. And at the second example 75% the left block and 25% the right one.

Also I would like to have a category page like that:

One post followed by ten other posts, and at the right hand side is the sidebar. But at theme panel options there is no module that could display content like this. I tried creating my own module and block to make it how I wanted, just like the image posted above; but I couldn’t make it work.
