To add ads inside articles using the theme option you can set the AdSense code (provider ads) or you can also use banners with links https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/
For banners, you need to use the code mentioned in the above guide https://i.imgur.com/q5XrvgO.png, just replace the image link and replace the # from href with the link you want for that banner.
