What I would like to do is: I would like to add a section after the image of the aeroplane, that shows the latest blog post. Only 1 blog post (the latest one) in full length.
None of the provided block element in Visual Composer seems to be able to do that.

I’m not really sure what you are trying to do. Do you want to display latest articles after the pagebuilder content? If you do you can set Pagabuilder with Latest Articles template – https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/ You can control the latest articles section from page settings – http://screencast.com/t/nO73WuxSqgU

Yes, I wanted to display latest article, but only 1. Only the latest one. And I want it to be full length. Not just the excerpt.

Unfortunately there is no option to add a full article on the homepage. You can chose one of the content blocks you want to display and filter it to only show 1 post from the block settings: http://screencast.com/t/5Ky4aEWtE
