How to add new social networks?

I am a Chinese user. As you know, most media and social networks are not available in China. So I have to add new social networks in following positions:
1. Theme panel > POST SETTING > Sharing > SOCIAL NETWORKS
2. Theme panel > SOCIAL NETWORKS > Social networks

This may be a good complex project, but only in this way I can fully control the social networks with icons and functions.
So please tell me how to achieve that, and if not could you recommend me any plugin that can do the same thing as the theme?

I saw this before, and this seems to add the new social icons and links in the author’s profile also.
But there will be some issues when I use the demo that I can’t find the new social icons in the default media set, which means I have to write the code again for headers, footer, and inside posts.Otherwise, I have to use another plugin, which lets me down.
I wonder if you guys could give me a tutorial or guide for this. Although I heard you are considering adding new social networks in next updates, it’s still hard to include all popular media sources for every country.
Maybe you can make a guide for this issue as a perfect patch, not adding new social networks again and again in every update.

(I don’t work here) Demos do not remove the icons, but a new theme update will coz they can only be added to the parent theme. So the best option is to back up the file(s) that you edit and re-upload them when you update the theme (but also keep checking theme changes to see if the file has been modified). That’s good. I use step one to add a Telegram icon coz they have not added that to the theme. But do always keep a copy of the files you edit for future use.

I preferring code because I am a little worried about the speed of my website, so I try to avoid using too many plugins on it.
As I said, I suggest you guys considering making a tutorial for this. I have seen lots of posts about this topic, and there are always some users to ask you to add new social networks to the Post Sharing list, which will be a challenge for your team to add all popular social media icon in the world. It is annoying to add new icons by patches.
